Project Title
Eilat Resort Complex
Alternate Titles
Eilat Hotel (Shamrock)
Description
The resort complex was to contain a variety of facilities and featured a natural lagoon with swimming platforms of various designs dotted around its edge. The design proposal included a half-kilometre long natural beach, a spa, a therapeutic facility with sun terraces and hanging gardens overlooking the water. As well, a five-storey hotel was proposed to form the major gateway to the southeast lagoon entrance. Modeled on the design of ancient cities like Jerusalem and Etzion Gaver, the resort was to be demarcated by a protective wall surrounding the complex.
