Many of Habitat '67’s innovative features now appear curiously dated, though no less interesting for this fact. A glass inset on the residence’s second-level railing allows natural light from a nearby window to penetrate the main floor living room. Generously proportioned, the living room is even airier by virtue of its exposure to light by surrounding windows and the fact that an upper level corridor looks down into its central, two-level space. Above, a small alcove and reading area make use of the oblong corridor.
