Description: The alterations for the Royal Trust Company consisted of a re-arrangement of the office layout, as well as the design of the entire interior decoration including the electrical fixtures, wood counters, and wood panels. The plans show an L-shaped office with a spacious public room with one Corinthian column marking the focal point of this room and conferring a sense of stability to the space. The administrative spaces were located behind the public space and comprised of a boardroom, a security department, a manager’s office, auditor’s office, a general office, and the vault.
