For their factory on De Lorimier Avenue, the Maxwell brothers designed a single-storey, flat-roofed brick annex with simple, clean lines to house two new mechanical oxide furnaces. The extension alongside a lane creates a wing perpendicular to the existing factory, four bays long and two bays wide. It touches the adjacent property to the east, the Canadian Bronze Company.
