Description: The Westmount School Commission engaged Edward Maxwell to design King’s School in 1896. The whole building follows a perfect symmetric composition in plan and front elevation. Two ionic columns on ground level and a Palladian window on the first floor mark the main access. The layout of the main floor follows a U-shaped composition with four classrooms on ground level. Two stairs located at the extremes of the rear part connects the different floors.
