Description: The work done for M. Walsh & Company involved the construction of a three-storey warehouse attached to the property located on Vitre Street. The façade for the new building would have a sandstone cornice with galvanized iron cornices crowning each floor’s row of windows. Brick hood mouldings were used for the windows except for the ground floor with its five large store front windows. The building had a double entrance, as well as an independent stairwell to access the upper floors. The drawings do not give any particulars for the original building, except to note where window and door openings were to be sealed.
