Description: In 1908, Mrs. J.K. Reid hired the Maxwell brothers to make some alterations for her cottage in Lakeside Quebec. The plans show an elongated L-shaped plan connected by an interior passage to the barn located at one end of the house. The alterations consisted of a wrapping verandah for the dining room and spare room. The first floor accommodated three bedrooms and the elevations reveal a simple cottage finished with clapboard, shingled roofs, and gabled dormers.
