Description: The drawing for this house shows a proposed alteration for the house of G.L. Peabody at Gaspé, Quebec. His residence was a small two-storey house with gable roof with two projecting brick chimneys at either end. The alterations consisted of a new flat dormer marking a symmetrical composition of French windows aligned vertically and horizontally. The new details and alterations included Beaux-Arts elements in combination with typical Georgian features of double-hung sash windows and dentils.
