D.R. Forgan House(-)
Saint-Andrews, NB, Canada
Residential, Country house [basement, 2 floors, attic, 8 bedrooms]; wall bearing

Client: D.R. Forgan
Architect: E. & W.S. Maxwell

Description: Additional drawings were furnished by the Maxwell brothers for the Forgan House at Saint-Andrews in New Brunswick. The house replicated the design done for Mrs. Augusta V. Grawford in Chicago by E.A. Mayo, Architect. Contrary to the Maxwell’s project, this design adopted simpler details with plain cornices and ceilings. All the blueprints of the drawings were received from Chicago while the Maxwell brothers supplied development drawings for floor plans. Due to various uncertainties the project was not built.

Holdings: Country house (basement, 2 floors, attic, 8 bedrooms); wall bearing
