Description: In 1906, Mr. Fogarty commissioned the Maxwell brothers to design an additional space for retail in his store on St-Catherine Street. The two-storey addition consisted of wooden columns on the ground floor supporting the steel joists and upper sheds. The new façade was clad with metallic sheets which imitated the old brick façade. The new sheds on the top story were offset from the street to create a new gallery space. The structure underwent many alterations and was later demolished.
