Moshe Safdie: Buildings and Projects, 1967-1992 (McGill- Queen's University Press, April 1996; pp.332) is edited by Irena Zantovska Murray, the Curator of the Canadian Architecture Collection and the Director of the Safdie Project. The publication represents the culmination of three years of work by the Canadian Architecture Collection in an effort to organize and provide a thorough documentary record of the first twenty-five years of Moshe Safdie's career. The project is based on the Safdie Archive at McGill University in Montreal, the architect's alma mater and the repository of his work. The Safdie Archive is the largest of the seventy-five fonds that presently form the Canadian Architecture Collection, the archival unit of the University's Blackader-Lauterman Library of Architecture and Art. In addition to the two introductory essays, the book contains concise descriptions of 115 projects, an annotated bibliography of 1,289 entries, which document the critical as well as public response to Safdie's work, and a cross-platform CD-ROM inventory of the Safdie Archive.

Moshe Safdie: Buildings and Projects, 1967-1992 is available through its distributor at the University of Toronto Press at 1-800-565-9523.
