Currently consisting of more than 80,000 architectural drawings, 140 linear metres of project files, more than a hundred sketchbooks, extensive photographic documentation, hundreds of presentation boards and dozens of architectural models, the Moshe Safdie Archive records the progression of Safdie's career from his first unpublished university papers to Safdie Architects' latest projects.

This site functions as an integral part of the Moshe Safdie Archive's finding aid. Each project record page provides a link to the project's inventory—a list of the physical holdings available to researchers on site at McGill University Library—as well as PDFs containing associated project images, including photos, architectural drawings, and concept sketches. Contact us to arrange an appointment to visit the Archive, or for any questions you may have about the materials.

The first eight of these themes were derived from Moshe Safdie's 2014 monograph, Safdie (Mulgrave, Victoria: The Images Publishing Group). The ninth, Other Projects, includes many more projects from throughout Safdie's career.
