The owner of this home has the distinction of being one of the original residents of Habitat, and after over thirty years of living there, this also makes her one of its most long-standing citizens. When she first moved to Habitat in 1968, this resident was part of the official delegation sent by the government of India to attend Man and His World, or Montreals famous Expo 67, in order to run the Indian pavilion. She lived in Habitats first (west) wing: there she occupied a two-module space for three years, before moving to a second, similarly-sized residence in the complexs newly completed second lobby in 1971. She has lived in this space ever since.
