St. George's School Extension
Project Title
St. George's School Extension
Description
The extension to the existing St. George's School was to include rooms housing industrial arts, painting and sculpture, music, labs, and new library facilities. It consisted of an arrangement of classrooms which were octagonal in plan and hexagonal in section, with staggered levels linked by stairs. The extension also included minor renovations and alterations to an existing playing field. The Board finally decided to buy an old house close to the existing school building and to renovate it, rather than building a new school.
