Koch Residence
Project Title
Koch Residence
Description
The Koch Estate is situated on 100 hectares (250 acres) of land in the Dover-Medfield region of Massachusetts. The site is characterized by rolling hills, with stone walls enclosing what was once farmland that has now become meadows overgrown with trees. At the heart of the site are located several buildings around a wooded knoll, rising above the lawns and pond. The proposed design called for improvements based on a new master plan. A new main house and a gatekeeper's house were to be completed within two years. The master plan also called for several subsidiary structures, a series of gardens, and the clearing of some meadows for livestock.
